Various Verizon organizations have a need to reduce force and intend to offer Special EISP. Volunteers will be accepted as necessary to meet business needs. Attached is a comprehensive listing of the surplus declarations and listings of employees who will receive this voluntary offer. 

The Special EISP offers will be distributed to the affected employees beginning on October 21^st, 2025.  The volunteer period will begin on October 27^th, 2025.  Volunteers whose applications for Special EISP are accepted will have a last day worked of December 13^th, 2025.

I also want to inform you about an update to the way surplus notifications and materials will be provided to associates. Going forward, associates who are included in a surplus declaration will receive a one page notification mailed to their home address as well as an email sent to their work email. In addition, all surplus offer materials will be available online through an Employee Portal, where associates can review their offer information and, if they choose, volunteer for surplus electronically. For those who prefer a paper copy of the surplus package, it can be requested by calling the Verizon Benefit Center.  Associates who are accepted or held will also be notified via email. This update is designed to make it easier and faster for associates to access important information regarding surplus offers, without changing the existing process.
