Incorrect W-2s for 2018 have been distributed to Long Term Disability recipients of Verizon. Long Term Disability (LTD)  is when your disability extends beyond 52 weeks.

Corrected W-2s (W-2C) will be mailed to affected members along with an outreach call from Sedgewick explaining the situation.

LTD benefits were incorrectly reflected as taxable income (Sick pay is non-taxable in NJ).

When you file your taxes you will be required to submit both your W-2 and your W-2C.

In the event you have already filed your taxes, Sedgwick will reimburse the cost of filing an amended return up to $125.
